Subj:    Salute to Veterans 2006

 

The programs will start at 0910 the morning of Wednesday, 8 November in the PHS Auditorium and be repeated at 1000.  (Two programs are necessary to accommodate the size of our student body.)

 

The speaker will be Col Bill Austin, USAF Retired, former commander of the Clemson AF ROTC and a 5 ½ year POW in the North Viet Nam.

 

The program will include special music and videos featuring Pendleton High School’s award winning Chorus, the new PHS AF JROTC and Pendleton’s 2006 State AAA Championship Band, “The Pride of Pendleton.”

 

After the program the PHS JROTC will hold a formal Flag Retirement Ceremony at the school’s flag pole.  All Veterans are invited to stay for this ceremony.

 

Please encourage all area Veterans to join us for this inspirational program as we salute all our Veterans.
